About Me
No profile added.
I'm 74 years old and retired. I have worked as an instructional aide at my childrens school, clipped and branded small fingerling fish, a fish counter at Bonneville Dam, a warehouse chief, and lastly a telephone operator and customer relations person at a small privately owned telephone company. My husband & I moved back to his home property after being away for 30 years. We are active in church & volunteer work in our small community. We have 3 grown children, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, plus other extended family members. I love to cook for family get togethers, we try to have a family get-together every summer for a barbaque and every Christmas time we get together for a fun day with white elephant gift exchange and lots of good food. Love having family around.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Being able to make Finnish sweet biscuit, close to what my mother-in-law made. Her's was the best ever.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
A dinner that went completely beserk with dry pork roast and a blue glue blueberry pie. That and some biscuits I made that my husband & uncle suggested we send to the Portland Hockey Team to be used for hockey pucks.
My Food For Thought
Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.
