My mind is willing, but unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with rhematoid arthritis and diabetes and my husband is diabetic. So crocheting and crafts has to be put on hold periodically until my hands and elbows feel better. My baking has almost stopped, except for my Christmas cookies that I still bake each year for gifts.
I believe I have mastered the best ever "Carrot Cake". During my cook book collecting, I obtained a file full of old clipped receipes. I took the best of three receipes and made it my own. My family loves it.
When I was in junior high school, in home economics, I was in charge of gathering the ingredients for chocolate tapioca pudding. I mixed up the sugar and salt. Needless to say we flunked that assignment.
Always be willing to try to make something, even if you don't like it in the end.
