I love creative cooking and trying new things. I happen to work for a discount grocer that specializes in restaurant foods... its amazing all the interesting quick cooking products most restaurants use. When I'm not there... I tend to be assisting my wonderful husband or making abstract paintings.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Being informed to bring as well as make a pumpkin pie from scratch an hour before we needed to be at Thanksgiving dinner -- I figured it was my mother-in-laws way of having a right of passage for me... my first Thanksgiving with my husband's family.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Combing two different cake recipes, and it not cooking right. Didn't realize the problem until it was too late... it oozed out onto the serving dish as well as the table. Silver lining... it was still quite tasty.
