About Me
No profile added.
My husband and I are retired, although we still have a 240 acre farm and a big house, and our children and grandkids still like to come home to the farm.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
My greatest kitchen triumph was the first Thanksgiving I cooked for our family. I had a list of what time to do each thing so it would all come out at the same time and it actually worked. I was happily exhausted after it was over.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
My biggest kitchen disaster happened when I poured the hot beef paprikash into a cut glass serving bowl and the bowl broke and poured the hot liquid onto my foot. The dinner party came to a halt since we didn't have a main dish and I had burned my foot pretty badly.
My Food For Thought
"When the news is all bad, and the sky is all gray and the chocolate is all gone, cooking for a friend can make everything all right with the world."
