My Biggest Kitchen DisasterYears and years ago when I was about 11 or 12 years old, my best friend was spending the night and the next day was my Mom's birthday. We decided we would make her a homemade chocolate cake during the night when everyone was asleep. The recipe called for chocolate squares and all we could find that resembled that was some "Ayds chocolates" (for those of you who do not remember them, they were diet chocolate chews). We used those in the cake recipe and oh my-what a flop! But I don't think my Mom will ever forget that birthday!
