My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
When I was first married, I wanted to impress my in-laws at Thanksgiving with my Grandmothers recipe for Cranberry Salad. I did not have a food chopper, so I used my blender to chop the cranberries. We dumped the full package of berries in the blender and hit the chop feature. They were chopped in the bottom of the blender but not in the top. My husband thought he could tamp them down with a wooden spoon. It took the spoon down and threw chopped cranberries all over my kitchen. I wish I had kept that chopped off spoon for a souvenir.
