Started doing all the cooking for the family about 15 years ago. I really got into it and will try about anything. My wife loves me for my conversion to the kitchen and the supermarket. Semi retired and work for the Pinkerton Detective Agency.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
I catered my oldest daughters wedding. Hugh hit!!! The biggest obstacle was transporting all the food and extras 300 miles to St. Simon's Island. I made 8 different dishes.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Made spaghetti and meatballs for a host of folks at the house one evening. I guess I had too many highballs??? I must have added 1/2 a jar of red pepper flakes to the sauce. It was so hot NOBODY could eat it. Had to spring for Dominos pizza!
My Food For Thought
When making dressing, when you think you have added too much celery, add some more!!
