My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Making Lefsa by myself from start to finish,when I was 13. I was the youngest granddaughter and the first to complete it. This is a family heirloom!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
making pumpkin pie with real raw pumkin! I cubed the pumpkin,added to the pie filling mix. baked it expecting the pumpkin chunks would melt into the rest of the mix??? Didn't happen, can you say rockie mtn's...lol! Needless to say they kept their chunk form....Hummmm I was a new 19 yr.old bride at the time!!
