About Me
No profile added.
i am a geriatric nurse looking forward to retiring in about 3 years. I recently moved back to the house my former husband and I built before our divorce. Lots of memories here as I have seven children, now raised. Lots of house 6 bedrooms. It's a beautiful house, warm and friendly. My daughter is coming from Japan for the summer with baby Lexi. Another daughter moved back and my niece is also here with me as she just started a new job here. I enjoy cooking family meals again. I've been divorced for 14 years and still hate going anywhere by myself. I miss having someone to take a drive with, go antiquing with etc., but know this feeling is common among women who have lost their husbands to. I try to look at my cup as being half full not half empty. Would like to hear from others who've been there.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Preparing our first THnksgiving dinner for our parents, many years ago. Everything turned out perfect inspite of a plugged sink!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Can't think of any!
My Food For Thought
Take each day as it comes, say a little prayer. what' the worst that can happen and the best and figure you'll probably end up somewhere in the middle.
