I am newly married and we are not interested in kids so I have a lot of glorious free time. Cooking is a good way to fill some of that time. I don't do much on weeknights, but on the weekends I don't mind to spend the day trying new stuff. I like to try to eat locally produced foods and I always shop the U. But I am really a pretty crappy cook. I also love to eat out. Louisville has some of the best locally owned restaurants in the country. We have Indian, Cuban, African, authentic Chinese, Thai, fantastic pubs and everything else right outside our door. I love it!
Doesn't even involve cooking. I can't think of a better meal than a bunch of cut up fruits and veggies, some fresh crusty bread, a bunch of wonderful cheeses like Capriole Farms (http://www.capriolegoatcheese.com/) fresh goat cheeses and Applewood smoked cheddar, lots of roasted garlic, maybe some prosciutto, and bottles and bottles of wine.
All of them. Like I said, I am a crappy cook. I just enjoy doing it.
