About Me
No profile added.
church activities take up much of my time through various music programs, committees, kitchen, etc. Have lived in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia my whole life. Prefer country or small town living to the city. Enjoy the simple things of life and enjoy my own space.....don't like being "fenced" in.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Exploding stuffing! One of my family's favorites is stuffing balls. Last Thanksgiving, with a house full of family & friends, I took the baking dish out of the oven and set it on the stove while I put the rolls in to bake. Just as I was about to check the rolls, there was a small explosion & dressing balls along with shards of glass flew all over the kitchen. I had placed the baking dish on a burner that I was certain I had turned off but had not. Fortunately no one was hurt but needless to say, we had no stuffing. My kids said "This is really a bang-up Thanksgiving."
My Food For Thought
Everyday miracles are found in small acts of kindness.
