My Greatest Cooking TriumphMy best moment was when I had to take over fixing the holiday meals for my family. It was my first experience at fixing the Thanksgiving meal - the turkey, dressing and all the sides. I was a nervous wreck! The results were so great, though, that my family gave me the job on a permanent basis! LOL!
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterMy first - and to date, only - attempt at pecan pie. Still can't figure out how all the pecans sank to the bottom! It also ran over the pan and made the most terrible mess in the oven! LOL! My DH and I laugh about it whenever we see pecan pie, but I am determined to give it another try one of these days once I can find a me-proof recipe!
