My Greatest Cooking TriumphMy biscuits would never rise. It may not seem like a big deal but it did take awhile for me to perfect it. I added more baking powder each time and finally now they are Awesome, my family just loves them and my boyfriend always asks me to make them. The recipe called for two tsp. but nine teaspoons later I had perfection. Not sure what my problem with them was but oh well they rise just fine now!
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterI cook and bake by trial and error. As for my biggest kitchen disaster- I think there are too many to name. The hardest thing for me is I am a vegetarian. Always have been since I was young so at this point meat just doesn't appeal to me. Now I am dating a guy who is Not a vegetarian and the hardest thing is trying to cook for him. It's not too bad but sometimes it's hard to tell if things are done quite right since I don't eat it. It can be rather a challenge at times.
My Food For ThoughtAlways at least TRY to do something. If you don't ever try you will never know what your capable of. That is true whether it be a recipe that looks difficult or anything about life that freaks you out a little bit
