I'm from the great state of IOWA (Go Hawkeyes)! I'm a wife and mother of two children (ages 6 & 4). I love my job as being a wife and stay-at-home mom. I also homeschool my children and they do a great job helping me out in the kitchen, especially when it is time to "Lick the Bowl"!
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
This past week, I came up with my own concoction of Chicken Florentine soup...turned out great!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
When I was about 12 years old, I was going to surprise my Dad by making rice pudding. I read the directions wrong and added 1/4 cup of salt instead of 1/4 teaspoon of salt. I'll never forget the look on my Dad's face when he took a spoonful of the pudding and ended up spitting it out! I'll never make that mistake again.
