I've always been a picky eater, but I'm working on it. Cooking has helped me broaden my taste-horizons. I just got into it this year, though, so I'm still an amateur.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Easter dinner. I cooked the ham, made bunny shaped rolls, and even whipped up two desserts; one of which was the Peeps Sunflower Cake. They all tasted great and looked even better. A success all around.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Wasting two whole bags of chocolate chips because nobody told me you can't melt chocolate in the microwave on high. It has to be at MEDIUM power, for those others who also didn't know that.
