About Me
No profile added.
I am a spiritual teacher in Sedona, AZ.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Totally yummy Turkey Chili. It's my most requested recipe. It's not spicy at all, and not thick like regular chili, but it's just really yummy and comforting, and even the hardened jalapeno lovers request my mild chili. I adapted it from a cookbook recipe many, many years ago to suit the taste of my children and their friends.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
I was making one of my favorite TOH recipes for Christmas 2009: Kodiak Casserole. My family was here to decorate a gingerbread house (a recipe that is also from TOH). I have no idea what I did, but after listening to my daughter rave for hours about how great this casserole is, it was AWFUL. I mean, inedible. I was suddenly pulling every snack food I had out of the fridge and cupboards to fill everyone's tummies. :)
My Food For Thought
Life is a journey. For me, food is a wonderful part of that journey. An open mind and open heart are all that is needed to satiate any appetite: spiritually, or physically.
