My Greatest Cooking Triumph: I made a fruit tart once that had a nut crust with an apricot glaze, topped with strawberries and kiwi slices. It was by far the most spectacular thing I've ever prepared.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: As a child, I learned the hard way that you don't heat up milk in a tea kettle. I also learned as a child that you never carry a plate of spagehetti when a jumping dog is in the near vicinity.
