My Greatest Cooking TriumphFollowing a recipe one year in "Taste of Home" I made a watermelon salad with pretty star shaped designs in and around the rim for a 4th of July party my husbands boss held. I received many compliments and was happy my husband was proud.
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterThere have been many! but what stands out the most, I had enjoyed a liver pate' a friend of mine had made and thinking that I remembered her recipe some months later I made it for a friends outdoor get-together. The pate' tasted to strong of liver and only a couple of people sampled it. Needless to say, they didn't come back for seconds!
