My Greatest Cooking TriumphWhen my husband and I married in July of 2009, I made most of the food for our wedding and with the help of family and friends, we served it buffet style in our backyard under a huge white 3 pointed tent we rented along with chairs and tables. It was so beautiful and memorable. The food was country style with creations such as pulled chicken bbq sandwiches, hot sausage hoagies, buttermilk fried chicken, various salads, smoked baked bean, etc. It was a summer wedding and casual so we wanted to keep the food feeling the same way. I couldn't have planned a more perfect wedding suited to my husband and I!
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterOvercooking a batch of pigeons in the slow cooker. The smell can't even be described!
My Food For ThoughtThese are three quotes that I really like and stand by:

"Shared Joy. Twice Joy. Shared Sorrow. Half Sorrow."
"Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted."
"Brick walls are there for a reason; they let us prove how badly we want things."
