My greatest cooking triumph was when I finally learned how to make baklava with a super simple easy recipe and have it taste delicious!
My biggest kitchen disaster was one Thanksgiving when I got a new soup tureen shaped like a turkey. I had to make pumpkin soup so I could use the tureen. However, I forgot the recipe and had to improvise. It was horrible. It was the one and only dish that my husband said was awful!
The huge moments in life are wonderful, but it's the little, everyday happenings that are best!
