About Me
No profile added.
Hello! My name is Sharon Selz and I'm the Creative Editor for Country Woman magazine. This gives me a chance to interview fascinating rural women from across the country and share their stories with our readers. How else could I have obtained such a great insight into the life of an Amish woman and expert quilter or the how-to’s of raising Longhorn cattle? I’ll always remember the very first story I worked on. It featured a Wyoming ranch woman who took guests on 5-day trail rides using covered wagons she and her family built. Having been raised in the country (a cranberry grower's daughter) surrounded by rural women, I'm thrilled to show the world how special they are!
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Making bread with my own two hands…s-wheat!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Whenever I cook to the tune of my smoke detector, I know something's just not right.
My Food For Thought
It's more fun to challenge your limits than limit your challenges.
