I think this is one of those recipes you have to tweak yourselves. Less sugar may help, but the 'jam' aspect may be lost. Possibly a smokier bacon? Maybe adding some liquid smoke? The onions add

If you only have a couple kids and don't want to get into flours, I suggest you make Betty Crocker Gluten free brownies and cookies from mixes. Or, make Rice Krispie treats with the new gluten free
