We keep our thermostat at 64 during the day and 55 at night. This is in Iowa and it is pretty cold right now. I have on two pair of pants and a thermal undershirt and a sweater and slippers and socks on

I'm thawing my turkey in the unheated garage. It is in the roaster which is wrapped up in several layers of blankets. It will be fine. I've done this for several years and there is always ice in the center
