• Re: Anyone joined a Spatula Ministries?

I have never heard of Spatula Ministries but I have heard of PFLAG which is Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. It is a wonderful organization for all people including straight allies, and GLBT ( G ay, L esbian, B i-Sexual and T ransgendered) people too. You can check out their web-site...

  • Re: Anyone joined a Spatula Ministries?

Hi Lvs2cook -- I did check out the Spatula Ministries website. I would proceed with caution. The message is to love your child but also that being gay is a sin -- hate the sin, love the sinner. Not a good message at all. That is probably why Barbara Johnson's son disowned his family for 11 years...

  • Re: Anyone gay here?

I apologize in advance for the length of this but I have a lot to say – and even more that I am not posting due to length. You have received a lot a wonderful advice from fellow posters but here is my 2 cents… Lvs2cook: Communicate with your son. If you have a question – ask him! I would think he would...
The biggest puzzle for me - She became a he. Why would he choose to keep those woman parts? Wouldn't he have periods? Who in their right mind would want to keep having periods? Maybe it was planned this way - I dunno.
To anyone wondering about Zippo's...
All sounds like some sort of freak show gone horribly awry. That poor baby.
I must disagree with you 4boysmom. This child is going to be born into a loving family -- the childs journey is just a little different from the norm. As far as saying this is a freak...
why is it this man can "change his sex slightly" and he can legally marry a woman yet same sex couples can not marry?
Good question Disney and also good answers -- so far.... Each state may differ on their requirements but here, in a nutshell...

  • Got this in a message. "For the GLBT community"

In every paycheck you've ever received, you've been contributing to Social Security. Imagine knowing that, should you die, your partner won't receive the survivor benefits you've paid for. Or imagine moving to another state, only to find that your partner will be kicked off of your health...
