  • two questions

    I have a recipe that calls for almond filling, is that the same as almond paste, I haven't been able to find filling? And for anyone who has the 2009 Taste of Home Annual Recipes, on page 88, there's a recipe for Cranberry Swirl Bread, in the directions it says, " Place in a zigzag pattern...

    I didn't have a cholesterol problem until after menopause. It was always 160ish, last May it was 248. My HDL is pretty high though, so that's good. DH has always had a problem, (family history), he takes meds. Everything in moderation! Exercise helps a lot. Debie

    I'm don't remember what it was a couple days ago here in the southern tier, but we take our Top's points and go to Bradford where it's been at least 20¢ cheaper, even less than on the reservation. Debie

    Just a bit of trivia, I got a Farmer's Almanac calendar for Christmas, this is the Full Wolf Moon, some Sioux tribes call this the Moon of Frost in the Teepee. LOL I know it will be here.

    Yes, he is, in fact he's cooking right now. And he helps with the dishes. He'd like to learn how to bake, but he's not good at measuring, so I think my job is secure. LOL
