  • Re: Does anyone have a recipe for Cheesecake Brownies

I haven't had the brownies from Great American Cookie Co. so I can't compare, but these are pretty good. The cheesecake part is great, the brownie itself is pretty good, but I didn't love it. But then again, I'm extremely picky when it comes to brownies. They're worth a shot, and...

  • Re: Cookie Cutters

I know you can buy kits that allow you to make your own cookie cutter. I'm not sure I could bend the metal well enough to make a cutter I was happy with, but it's out there if you can't find a premade cutter and think that's a good option for you. You should be able to find it through...

  • Pennsylvania farmers market cinnamon rolls

Around 1970, we used to go to the Pennsylvania Dutch Farmer's Market in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to get the best cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted. There was a booth at the Farmer's Market that sold them, and they were homemade by an Amish family. Would anyone have that recipe?

  • Considering small-group catering

I have been doing baking for Farmer's Markets for several years now and I am known for my baked goods, tasty appetizers and low-fat meals. I have had a number of people tell me I should open a catering business. As the mother of two small children, I don't believe I have the time necessary to...

Neither am I but I love the look of those very cute cupcakes so I am going to make white cake batter and buttercream...

  • Crisp season

Crisps are a great summer dessert. They are quick and easy to make and are a smart way to use up an abundance of berries and rhubarb. Here's one trick to make it even simpler - make up a double batch of crisp topping from and keep it in the refrigerator (I use the topping from one of my favorite...
