  • Looking for German Potato "Loaf" Recipe

    Hi Everyone! When I was in college, my roommate was of German descent. Her mother made a fabulous dense savory potato and bacon loaf - it looked like a quick bread loaf. I do not know if it was eaten warm immediately after being baked? (the outside was brown) but we sliced it when cold and fried it on...

  • Potato Dumplings

    Does anyone have a fail-safe recipe for potato dumplings? I have a recipe, but sometimes the dumplings seem to fall apart. Also, does anyone know why dumplings sometimes don't hold together? Is it from over cooking or undercooking?
