    laura, I've never had the scones you're talking about, and mine are probably not like them - I don't consider them to be of consisteny close to a cookie...I can't quite wrap my brain around a scone similar to a cookie. The recipe I've developed isn't a typical scone in my opinion...

  • Pennsylvania farmers market cinnamon rolls

    Around 1970, we used to go to the Pennsylvania Dutch Farmer's Market in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to get the best cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted. There was a booth at the Farmer's Market that sold them, and they were homemade by an Amish family. Would anyone have that recipe?

  • Shredded Wheat Bread

    Hi, My grandmother had a really good shredded wheat bread recipe that she passed on to her daughters but over the years the recipe has been lost. I am looking for one that is similar and so far have not been able to find one that is like it. If anyone has a recipe out there please let me know

    I have just bought my first bunt pan and now looking for some cake Ideas I have canned strawberries, white box cake mix, cocoa powder, german chocolate chunks, and strawberrie jello mix.   • Crusty Italian Bread Recipe????

    I have recently gone back to baking bread, I have done well with an old fashion Bohemian Rye, regular white & whole wheat, but I can't seem to find a recipe for a good old country crusty crust italian bread. Anyone? Sherie
