I use to cook food to be edible. Now, however, I own over 100 cookbooks (mostly the community/church-type). My collection started about a year ago when my esophagus stopped working properly, so I physically can only eat small amounts of food. Not only do I have to be sure food is actually nutritious, since I'm not getting as much as before, but I really care that it tastes good too. I love making baked goods because they always go down easy. I have a harder time focusing on regular meals because they don't always work .
I am not horribly adventurous yet, but I am "known" for my snickerdoodles.
Left my pyrex pan of lasagna on a burner I thought was turned off. You can see where this is going... It exploded. We had glass and sauce and cheese everywhere.
Slow down and enjoy nonprocessed, over-salted foods.
