I am from and currently live in NW IA. I have four children. Girls are bookends, boys in the middle. I never intended on being a stay-at-home mom. I went to college and received my BS and did work on a Masters (until I got pregnant!). My husband asked me to try staying home with the kids and he would be the provider. I have to say I love it. I am more surprised than anyone. I enjoy cooking because it is like being in the lab again. Recipes are like little experiments to me. Therefore, I have a difficult time deviating from the recipes. I am getting better but for a long time I could only add what was being called for in the recipe.
